Clark Street Ale House's somewhat secret beer garden comes to life on Wednesday nights when a couple American Bocce courts fill it up. This league is rambunctious and cozy with hot shots flying and room for new teams to grow into the game. You don't need skill—a willingness to put a drink in one hand, a bocce ball in the other, and the ability to toss one onto the court and the other into your mouth. It's fun. It's friendly. It's easy. It's breezy.
The classic white walls and green turf courts sit on CSAH's concrete slabs for a fun roll that's pretty predictably unpredictable. This league is perfect for the after work hang and/or the hump night out. It's all making friends, having laughs and playing a little bit of the world's best leisure sport. Clark Street curates a fantastic beer list and Fernet shots on special are the best compliment that beer can have (with dog friendly + the popcorn machine close behind).
